gakgupta Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 After grame swan retired and ajmal got out of the game with suspect action, i don't have any doubts to say that Ashwin is the best spinner in the world.Who will be next spinning sensation?I m following Indian domestic cricket, I don't see any special talent. Anyone from your countries?Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk
kosingh Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Hope it's a leg spinner. Nothing like watching a good leggie. Never will be another Warne, but still... express bowling 1
jf1gp_1 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 If warne were playing today he would finish tests in a couple of days even on flat tracks diehardpacer and diga 2
diga Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 If warne were playing today he would finish tests in a couple of days even on flat trackstrue.. batsmen just dont have the tenacity to play spin in tests..Of the current lot, mitchell santner seems good.. apt replacement for Vettori
bulbul Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Yessir shah is good..but we have to see how he performs after coming back and outside UAE diehardpacer 1
Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 It all depends on what pitches current spinners wud play on and how much over do they bowl for their teamsIsh sodhi- wud play a lot of game being a leg spinner, but as he wud play most test in nz pitches and small ground + most wkts wud be taken by their fast bowler so he wnt have much to do. He ll only come in play in subcontinent out of which Indian team is oen who struggles more against off spinners than leg spinners.Jeetan patel- Wud hardly get chances but come in play against india and turning tracksImran tahir- Wud be handy against lots of team but just feel Sa team doesnt know how to use him. Again has a disadvantages at home pitches and A one fast bowling attackYasir shah- His ban is that long wud return to bowl n get wkts in dubai. I expect him to get a lot of wkts but then he plays for pakistan team. Expect anything . Nathan lyon- I dnt see him having any competition frm aus bench . So would play many many test. Since aus tracks have become Pattas that help spinners on final day and also he can handful in subcontinent. Expect him to take a lot of wkts as well.Sir jadeja- Well he is destructive when it ball turns. And if u see he has actually become india second best spinner currently. He was even pref over ashwin in many test overseas . He took 6 wkts in durban in 1st which is no mean achievement. HE deserves credit for improvement in his bowling as well. With age on his side expect him to take lots n lots of wkts. With no spinners coming up in rank and add his all round abilities he would always be there in squad and around playing 11. Ashwin- Someone who will end up getting lot of wkts becoz of dustbowls he is gonna play at and also when he goes to Wi, SL and bang as well. Also i rate him very highly coz of his interlligence n hardwork. Kumble also fig ways out to bowl in overseas in latter part of his career which if he also does , he wud be termed as all time gr8 . Also he is someone who when gets a pitch acc to him he takes full advantage of it. So for ME ashwin most likely wud end up being an all time gr8Â
Mahaa Raavana Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Out of the current lot, Ashwin and Yasir Shah are head and shoulders above the rest . In SL, there is a left arm chinaman bowler,Lakshan Sandakan, who is doing really well in the domestic scene. Him and the leggie Vandersay are our hopes for the future. kosingh Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 It won't be a Bangladeshi spinner. If a Bangladeshi spinner shows promise, BCCI will get him banned for chucking!
Mahaa Raavana Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 What happened to Dhanajaya??Meh..getting carted around by everyone.. takes a few wickets ,but too expensive.. and his action is dodgy ,wil be called if he plays at international level.. best bet is sticking to leggies, these days..Sent from my SM-J200G using Tapatalk
Mosher Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 What happened to Kuldeep Yadav? shibnarayan and speedster 2

Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 What happened to Kuldeep Yadav? Lush green pitches, didnt let him get in platying 11 last yr for up in most games and this yr didnt do that well in ranji. Looks like he has fallen of selectors radar. Even KKR didnt play him last season. Looks like some one who needs to work on his fitness. I hope he doesnt turn out to be the next piyush chawlaEven if he gets picked for sure he ll be picked up for ODi n t20 and that wud affect his line length n flight.Currently Jayant yadav looks way ahead of him for a test spot

I think failure of Kapugedra, chandimal and thirmanne to take up the batting mettle has really upset their transistion phase.Â

WC2011INDIA Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Zampa will be a good one in ODI/T20 for Australia. Has potential to serve them for long time.

But he is still very young and has a lot of potential. He has the x-factor to succeed in international cricket. Atleast in ODI/T20's. Don't know why is he off the selectors radar. Hopefully he will get more chances to showcase his skills in this year's IPL.

wtachetna Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I had some hope with Lasith Malinga. It has been replaced by Jeffrey Vandersay who I can't bare watching in the match as a bowler.
