So far regarding big hitting none of the young uncapped indians (except Manan Vohra) have impressed to merit place in India T20 or ODI, other teams are way ahead of India it seems regarding hitting power. zen Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 (edited) I watched many of the IPL games this weekend. Of the batsmen, only Vohra impressed me so far. Vohra also showed good presense of mind and ability to take advantage of field settings Iyer, Samson and Nair did not impress me much Hopefully, these guys will get more opportunity to show their skills vs good bowling attacks For the spinners, K Pandya and M Ashwin showed good temperament but need to improve to make a successful transition to international cricket Edited April 17, 2016 by rett tweaker and diehardpacer 2

Hit some big sixes and powerful shots but there were deft touches for 4 too. An innings under pressure always carries more value. diehardpacer and tweaker 2

Not easy to handle. He is not used to contimuous 135 k + pace as he has played only a handful of List A and domestic T20s...may get better with time.
