Nova Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Quote Most 4-year-old kids are busy spending the time playing with their parents, collecting toys; but there is this prodigy in Delhi who is already making headlines as a cricketer. It is hard to believe that at a tender age of 4, Shayan Jamal is chosen as one of the batsmen to represent his school in the U-12 team. As revealed by the father, who himself has been a club level cricketer, Shayan gets himself glued to TV sets as soon as a cricket match is being displayed while most children of the same age can't live without cartoons. The child is presently receiving coaching from noted cricket coach Uttam Bhattacharya. Shayan's talent was immediately valued by Uttam who admitted him to his cricket academy and now trains him regularly. According to Uttam, “Shyan is a child prodigy, a wonder boy. He is special because at such a small age he not only bats but bats well with proper cricketing sense. Even the great Sachin Tendulkar, who ruled the cricketing world for nearly two and half decades, did not understand cricket at the age of four.” Uttam also expressed desire to see Shayan playing for his country one day. beetle Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 awwww cutie pie! He must be the team mascot...but seriously,at four it seems unlikely that this is not about someone pulling strings to get him in or someone doing this for publicity.I hope he isn't made into another Budhia. Let the kid grow up a bit. New guy 1
sandeep Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 publicity stunt. And unfair to the child. Borderline abuse.
