MS Dhoni .. 27 sixes and well ahead of anyone else :hail::hail:

He was boosting his average and in most of those matches, the match was already over.

Rohit's average doesn't give out the true  picture :wall:

Also he has more wickets than Binny in Australia and England and Jadeja in Australia

Binny n Jadeja didnt play in Australia, by that logic umesh yadav, shami has more runs in West indies than rohit

Overall Rahane is our best batsman. But he needs to be more consistent and make sure that he scores big when it's actually easy to score.

Kohli is consistently improving and he will remain our main player for long time.

Pujara needs to work a lot on his game and this is the time. I doubt that it will be easy for him return back once he is dropped.

Vijay has been very good for us in last 3 years (averages 45-46). He can see off the new ball in all conditions. He also needs to be bit more consistent.

Rahul is a great potential, but rest of the players aren't enough to challenge other players in the team

i believe both Dravid and Tendulkar average hit 59+ deep into their careers albeit briefly. Doubt we'll see that again.

When Sampras won 14  Grand Slams , people thought that no on is going to come close in 30 years .....but poof....Federer overtook that within a few years.   and Nadal and Djoker challenging that again.

One problem with Indian batsmen is inability to score big when pitch are flat and offer little bit of help outside Asia. All of them have specific weaknesses and fail even on tracks where they needed to manage few good balls only. No surprise that Ahswin and Mishra are averaging higher.

Hmm sometimes i feel Rahane needs to come in at 3. He prefers the ball coming onto the bat. Che in contrast likes the spinners and goes into a shell v pace.

Problem is I am not sure how good Che is in batting with the tail...

A person batting at 5 or 6 should have the ability to accelerate if needed and  Pujara does not have that ability.  Rahane is  better at this.

I agree with rahane batting at 3, the guy has best technique against fast bowling, and sometimes struggle when ball comes slow on bat. Also he is to good to bat so low , if he starts to bat up he ll score more. He also scores swiftly which will help us in long run.

Pujara at 5 can be a good option only thing is with tail u need some strokes which he lack neither does he rotate. But if Pujara fails in coming games i think Manish pandey or Karun nair should be given a chance.

Dhawan and Rohit have been our worst batsmen yet we see Pujara and Vijay getting dropped for them.
