His chances may come due to injury to other pacers too  ( although,  hopefully  it does not come that way  )

Aaron is hardly playing- this way how on earth will he get selected.

Only way for Aaron to be selected can be if I am made the Chief of Selectors.

Samson is fading away by every season. He should have been challenging Dhoni and Saha for the wicket-keeper role by now, but he barely has any performance in First Class cricket with the bat.

he had a knee issue, so, someone else kept wickets in last 2-3 games.

KCA secretary TN Ananthanarayanan alleged Samson had misbehaved on several instances during the season. He is also said to have left the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai without informing the team management while the game against Goa was in progress.

 

"After he was out for 0 in the second innings, he returned and broke his bat in the dressing room," Ananthanarayanan told ESPNcricinfo. "He then went out without informing anybody in the middle of the match and came back only at 8 or 9 pm. Soon after he was dropped, Samson's father, Vishwanadh Samson, came to Cuttack and insisted on taking his son back to Trivandrum.," Ananthanarayanan said. However, according to a Times of India report, Vishwanadh Samson admitted to speaking to Mathew, but denied abusing him.

 

Why does Dad have to speak to KCA president?? for dropping Samson??

Not for dropping him. He had a knee injury and after being dropped, he asked for permission to go to NCA for rehab but they denied, so, his father made a call to KCA president.

Panchal is an average batsman, nothing special about him, averages 38 after 48 FC games.

P.S --  Nathu Singh and   Varun Aaron have missed most Ranji matches this season due to injury and Pradeep Sangwan has played very few too.
