No reason that kumble's contract wouldnt be extended. He has been gr8, U can bring in all the youth in the team but experience is invaluable. Kumble would also be a gr8 help to dhoni n kohli and more specially to our spinners as well in future to

Never understood why Ashwin was never given the vice captaincy in test matches. Such an astute cricketer and student of the game, even when he is not playing he is watching cricket matches around the world.

i think its not an 'if' but when question, he would be second spinner after Kumble i am sure, he just needs to keep playing the way he is. If he consistently stays at the top as an allrounder and a bowler why would anyone keep that away from him.

Most dedicated student of the game. I had no plans to watch WI v PAK odi series but when ashwin tweeted about babar azam i had to watch and i feel relieved that I didn't miss out on some awesome batting from a youngster. 

Rarely seen any other international cricketer taking an active interest in world cricket.
