He is going to be with Indian team continously now, so i doubt how much 1st class cricket will he get to play. No he shouldnt be , there might be some odd games where we migh feel like playing 3 spinners where 3rd one may be someone like kuldeep so u need that fast bowling all rounder Link to comment

After the initial hiccups, he overcame his nerves & help the team win ,which we can't expect from our veteran allrounder. Kuldeep shud be tried in Ind-Aus tests series specially the way Aus struggled against the SL chinamen and even shamsi Bowling in test would encourage him to flight the bowl more. Our captain is kohli and he believes in changing combination acc to conditions . I don't understand too much theory in sports It would be a practical step to play these guys against Bangladesh Besides, all these guys are on the verge of test match selection anyway.....Pandya is already in the test squad and the team-management has said that they want to play him overseas, Pant was asked to be on stand-by in the last test series and missed out narrowly and Kuldeep is more ready to bowl in test matches than Jayant Yadav, whose batting has kept him in the test team. Ideal time to give him a chance if we are looking to play him in future in test, overseas.
