Who is the designated shiner of the cricket ball in Indian team?

I know that teams these days designate a particular player to "work" on the ball for eg; Faf Du Pleiss for South Africa to get reverse swing. Obviously Faf is a bad example here because he was blatantly altering the shape of the ball, but teams have been getting prodigious reverse swing these days especially on unhelpful tracks.

 

We saw England do this in the series against Pak,Starc do this often for AUstralia ,India-with Ishant,Shami,Yadav all have been bowling some beautiful spells where they were reversing the ball and South Africa(now we know how)

 

Surprisingly I haven't seen Pakistani bowlers do this these days because obviously subtlety is not their forte.

 

Anyway back to the question....right from Ishant's spell in Sri Lanka and then the final Test against South Africa or Yadav and Shami at times making things happen with some beautiful reverse swing bowling-something that Indians were lacking before the advent of Zaheer Khan.......

 

we need to take time and appreciate whoever this designated worker of the cricket ball in the Indian side is,has been doing a great job.

 

So who is he?

Which was that spell of Ishant in SL? I think there was no reverse there. That was a green track and ball seamed off the pitch.

It's ashwin for sure. Its was told in one of the interviews. he also takes care of the amount of saliva that goes onto the ball.But kohli gets bossy and sometimes does it himself.
