No wonder good cricketers are quitting South African cricket and likes of AB are extending their careers quitting tests.

 

Knew Racial quotas were bad but Behardien as captain...this is a new low for South African cricket

Who do you want to see then as a captain of twenty20s. It is clear that not many players are interested in captaining and taking load of more than one format and hence De Villers or Amla or Du Plesis did not go for the captaincy. 

 

Also this series they had 6-7 new olayers with Behardien being one of the senior players who was supposed to play all three games and hence the choice. When twenty20 world cup comes about, he might not be the captain and this could turn out to be just a temporary stint.

It is the equivalent of giving captaincy to Stuart Binny.Also wasn't Dave Miller the captain a few games ago?

Read he wasn't being considered first for this series as he was considered to be part of IPl and they were thinking of resting all the olayers including miller as they would be involved non stop till August which includes champions trophy, NZ tour and IPl.

LMAO he's captain now  damn south africa needs to pull up its socks, if south africa also decline like pak, lanka and west indies then only big 3 will be left in cricket

Just lost the T20 series to a young,inexperienced and in terms of talent a pretty ordinary Srilankan side......Players like Behradein don't deserve to be part of the X1 most games,leave alone captain the side...disgusting

Behardien is total shit of a player..knew it from the first time he made debut. SAF will soon become Zim.
