Though I still think there is a lot of room for further improvement in his game , if he can take care of that could be our best Test player in 2-3 years and may be the second best batsmen overall behind Virat .

He is one of the few batsmen who look comfortable against both pace and spin and  is relatively less troubled on a difficult pitch. He is a natural stroke-player too. 

I agree. His defense is not very strong/perfect, but being technically sound is not everything. More importantly - a bit like VVS in some Tests - he seems to do well on low-scoring pitches (at least vs spin), which augurs well.

He would be perhaps but his body is so fragile that Chinese porcelain is like adamantium (fictional metal) in comparison.

I don't have an issue with his defense per se but he needs to cut out those loose shots outside the off stump.

Sure....if he remains injury free.

Missing him in the team already. Would rate him 9.5/10. He is a quality batsman and frankly don't want him to cut down any shots. His attacking style of cricket would be a refreshing change in this team where everyone wants to save their own arse and don't think collectively in the interest of team.

The good thing for him is , hes one off Virats favourites .

 

Tattoos , beard , fancy hairdos , RCB  and the fact that he can bat is just a bonus ;)
