Last time it happened was in 2004 against Australia at Mumbai. Indian team was bundled out for 104, but then SRT and VVS bailed team out and then Bhajji and co defended 107 against an ATG Aussie batting line up.

But we still need to bat well in our 2nd innings which is somehow looking beyond most of our batsmen. Rahane, Saha and our tail are walking wkts and it will be mostly up to Rahul and Kohli to stand up next time they bat.

I am so disappointed . We are much better then this but for some reason we just having horror show at moment . It won't last though . We are better then showing at moment

We are better then showing at moment I agree that if Aussie can be held to a small 1st innings lead, and can be set 150-200 in the 4th innings it will be difficult batting last. Even a total of 100+ can be a challenge - especially if there is a collapse the pressure can quickly turnaround the game.

Forget about the lead, batting is the real problem, we can bowl them out for a 50 run lead and then get bowled out for 100 in the second innings, we have been unable to bat for even a day, you can't win matches by batting just 70 overs, if our batting clicks then we can beat them from even a 100 run deficit but we need to bat properly first.
