Yadav to SE Marsh, no run, unplayable. This has hit a crack and gone the other away, against the angle. From short of a length, it jags away. Beats him by a week. Half a shout for catch, but they don't review. Rightly so. Hang on. This replay is interesting. This ball kissed the thumb on the way. Saha was the only one excited, but they decided against reviewing

What's going on here?

Kohli showing I am the boss attitude and not respecting saha's opinion. If saha is confident go for it. He was confident. Now marsh will score a century because of incompetence of the captain.

Kohli showed this behaviour in odis vs England too. Dhoni said no he still went for it, end result review wasted. :cantstop:

Dhoni used to do be like this too.

But he was the captain too. So he knew when to take or not.

No you are wrong it was an example of Saha's ineptness. He was the one who was very confident and excited,he should have convinced Virat to go for the review.

Maybe but i will blame captain. You trust the keeper no matter what. That's the first rule of drs.

Hopefully this hurts a lot of ego's and made them realise to respect cricket, when you take Cricket for granted, u are taken for ride and that's what has happened.

At this point just give the full of responsibility of DRS to Saha. Saha can consult whoever he chooses to, but let the final deciosion be up to him. Of course Kohli still would have to signal for DRS as mandated by the rules, but make Saha the decider who asks Kohli to signal.

(i am not serious of course. But something must change)

They need to find a methodical way for the DRS.  Play a percentages game.  Bowler and Keeper should have the most say and then  the close in fielders i.e at slips, etc.  Once they hit a certain threshold, then go for the DRS. Kohli is usually far from the action and in not a good position for his opinion to matter that much.

Bowler/Keeper =80%

Others = 20%

I would say if saha is sure take the review 100%

If he is not confident then go for other voices.

Like new ball cost us 50 runs in match 1, not going up for costed us 50/60 and a potential collapse.

The day was going quite well until tea. After that it was horror, thank god i didn't get to watch

Problem is Saha never looks 100% confident. He always gives the vibe that he's not sure. Can't really blame Kohli for not relying on Saha as Saha looks so uncertain with his appeals and at the time of DRS review.

No need to worry. Ishant Sharma is playing batman vs joker against Aussies.

But Aussies are kangroo and not bat, So they will be now having sleepless nights and day dreams on field after watching joker face from ishant.

It's a masterstroke by legend to take out their middle stumps

I have no idea what any of your post means.

9.20am A couple of observations about yesterday. I saw the replay of the review Kohli and Ashwin took for a pad-glove. I saw Karun Nair, the fielder at forward short leg, didn't even appeal. In fact even in the actual review, he was waving his head saying no. Nobody consulted him. If they saw him, they ignored him. And then they wasted the review
