Is Pakistan test team that bad?

With the retirement of Misbah and Younis , Pakistan were expected to do quite badly on their away tours but not only have they been whitewashed by Lanka at home , they seem to be struggling against a second string attack( without hunn, Henry and Stewart) of a second division county team(Kent) . Are Pakistan really as bad as second division county teams or is it just a one off? Discuss.

There is nothing to discuss, pakistan has been a minnow since most of the the last decade, they are a phateechar team which will soon fall even more and be reduced to an associate nation, insha allah that day will come very soon

Well they did draw a test series in England two years ago. Minnows don't do that but yes since then they certainly have been minnowesque in terms of results.

I think their test team has hit rock bottom immediately after their number 1 ranking. Need to find some quality players asap

Not worried. Just pointing out that the Pakistani test team must be worse than even the rankings suggest if they are being dominated by a weak kent side.

I have no idea why so may Indians are interested in our test cricket. it is non of their business though. Hindsight says India is scared of our test success. They can only play on flat cement home wickets where stupid fans go crazy and accept mediocre players as GODs after one hell of a knock . TBH Indias's recent away (only green track) record is so poor. Even they could not win last SA test series. Even the captaincy of Dhoni era Indian away record is poor than another SC team. Anyway India still cannot match the head to head record between us and blabing about our current form after result of a practice match . Its hilarious to say the gap will be same forever another few decade

Its just a practice match yaar we are adopting to pace conditions. Don't act like a troller until real series started. You guys will feel same heat when you play in England in July. Everybody knows how poor India played in England so far  Then we will laugh at you. 0-5 is coming for u guys  August month will be a summer for us.

What Ind did in SA recently?

 

Test series lost 2-1 

ODI Series won 5-1 against some what depleted team SA produced ever. No decok,AB, Faf played.A test player like Aiden Markram was captaining. Even Bangladesh could beat that team. 

T20 series won 2-1 does not make any sense because medicocre team like SL already beat them 2-1 last year

Tell me. Was the Lankans' whitewash of Pakistan also a 'practice' series? Just like the whitewashes inflicted by enzed and OZ when you toured there?  Is that why Pakistan are ranked #7 in tests? At this point I think Ireland have a good chance of winning against this team.
