Trichromatic
"I heard very clearly" - said Kohli and signalled T only to find out that ball wasn't even close to bat and brushed the pad. Clearly worst fielder and captain making DRS calls. He should take the backseat and consult others. Vilander, GoldenSun, UrmiSinhaRay and 1 other 1 1 2 Link to comment

Kohli was saying something else in Hindi. From the live footage, he seemed to be asking others around instead of saying he heard clearly. He was asking something like “awaaz aayi” or something. fineleg
KL Rahul said he heard , wasn't it? It was Rahul who made a firm suggestion. (also confirmed by cricinfo commentary) Edited December 7, 2018 by fineleg Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
Terrible call. Worst part is he becomes so dominant that others do not have the guts to go against him. Other teams have a set of people to get involved in the decision making, here its 80% Kohli, 15% bowler and perhaps 5% keeper unless Dhoni is around when Kohli goes totally by what Dhoni says. Clarke
Yea, he asked around. Took a calculated risk from the look of it. Link to comment

Not just this call, he has made wrong calls multiple times and doesn't look the brightest in making such decisions. Link to comment

You wrote something else above. Anyways, i don’t understand the fuss about drs honestly. You ask your players who havr better view and if one of them says he is confident that it might be out, and hence he listens to him and takes it. If he doesn’t take the review and it comes out to be actually that it was out, then people will be like “Kohli doesn’t trust others. He should have taken it by listening to his team mate” Just unnecessary topic to me this whole drs shyt. We are better of discussing him Playing Rohit or soemthing else. Khota
No call should be made without the input of wkt kpr and close in fielders. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
Trichromatic
Bowler not interested, keeper not that much and he takes review because of Rahane Quote 73.3 Ashwin to Pat Cummins, no run, lovely delivery but that's a review wasted! Lovely off break that turns sharply, Cummins went for the drive and got beaten on the inside edge. Rahane was excited but generally there wasn't much of an appeal. Yet, VK tries the DRS and is proven horribly wrong. Nothing on Snicko and HotSpot Link to comment
