Ind’s batting = Kohli

Just saw the scorecard. As has been suspected -> Ind Is short on batting except Kohli

Tuktuk Sharma is a phoney. Dhawan is tolerated based on his ICC record. Dhoni is past his best.

Apart from Kohli, other positives are Pandya, who looks brilliant when he is at the crease, + bowlers .... We should give more chances to likes of KL, who is hitting the ball well, Shankar and Pant. It is better to be late than never :orderorder:

So how did we win 2-1 in NZ when Kohli was not there?

Last 6 months someone has scored 1000+ runs, 4 100s and 5 50s in 20 ODIs, that 9 50+ scores in 20 ODIs, but he gets labelled 'Tuk Tuk sharma'. Only thing phoney is all such threads and the farce of an analysis that keeps getting presented.

I like watching him bat but i will shut up till he don't improve his fitness. His batting form has gone down due to his fitness & if he can't improve it then his time will come pretty early.

This is about Ind declining

Too quick to say that. India's bowling has gotten best and we haven't lost series or alot matches in decline of openers. That's great thing. They can get back to their best in worldcup. Due to this our middle order got good match practice too.

Doing well vs different teams in group stage is a challenge vs playing the same team in bilaterals

Fitness is a worry but that doesn't take anything away from how he's matches Kohli almost equally in last 18-24 months. DHawan has fallen off the cliff in last cuple of months but overall, he's been not too far behind as well.

To Say Indian batting = Kohli is an insult to both Rohit and Dhawan's efforts over last 2 years.

Agree many here don't accept the fact how good rohit has been since 2015. His one bad series and people have proved how bad batsman he has been.

And both Rohit and Dhawan Scored 2 match winning 50s each in those 3 ODIs.

Chasing low target in 2 of those games. And even Rayudu played a good inning .... If you have something intelligent to say let me know

He looked like a tailender in SA bar one innings , its not form .

In tests he sucks. In Odis pitches were not like have seam or swing movement to trouble him that much he got out due to mental block of test failures.

Tuktuk has a poor record in MO. On potential, players like Pandya are a better test batsmen than Rohit and would do well in LOIs if they opened too esp. on flat pitches
