Dont know ,but have noticed a pattern since last ct in England,i read many theories about ICC doing their bit to bring intl cricket in Pakistan.Aamir Sohail predicted a Pakistani win before the final,he explained ,ICC wants cricket back in Pakistan,it can only be achieved by rigging the whole tournament,

Then how beautifully they scripted this wc,by making it a fairytale journey for the English.They were on verge of getting Knocked out but then scripted a dramatic comeback, now they have annihilated 5 times champs,only to be the brand new WORLD CHAMPS

Don't know about this world cup but that champions trophy was a sure shot script. 

 

ICC may have thought that they can't lose a huge market in Pakistan and their broadcast money and sponsors.

What you are suggesting is mind boggling. There were 10 teams involved. Each team consisted of 15 selectable players. Then there are the coaches, managers, etc. Let's just focus on the players: 15x10= 150. Out of the 150, let's say at least one did not want to comply and would have wistle blown. This script would go down the gutter. 

 

Let's not confuse with individual players getting paid to underperform or do certain things during a match. Am talking about the script in general that a certain team will make it to the finals just because someone wanted it. Pretty much every team has to be on board, every players, umpires to pull something like this off. And then we also have to assume no one will blow the cover. 

 

A perfect example of player might have got paid would be AFG captain. Certain decisions he took when game was in favor of AFG v Pak could be debated about.

 

There are more evidence that aliens/ufo exists than what you are suggesting.
