Thamby bottled it in the 19th over, not a single yorker. Became too predictable with slower ones, maybe dew also affected him not bowling yorkers. One he tried turned to be a full toss and went for 6.

Good on GL for giving opportunities to young Indian fast bowlers. Thampi, Nathu and now Sangwan all have given decent performances.

Can somebody answer few questions.

How can dhwal and Praveen be preferred to sanghwan in early matches.

Sanghwan looks similar to nehra may be lil inferior.

But it's crazy to play dhwal and ok ahead of him.

Raina picked wrong set of bowlers earlier.

Sanghwan  has looked closest to nehra.

Bran and aniket have looked inferior to sanghwan.

Siraj has looked better than thampi ankit rajput and other right arm pacers n looks similar to bhuvi and umesh.

Siraj And sanghwan look best 2 options after bumrah bhuvi n umesh...shammi fitness is not clear

Don't know if Nathu is injured. But Nathu looked so good. GL should play him every game.

So by and large the names that have been talked about on this forum have showed good potential. good on IPL teams also to catch on to the talent and promoting them. Thampi, Nathu, Rajpoot, Sangwan, Siraj and some others have all impressed.

A big change from previous versions of IPL is that now bowlers are more skilled and there are decent pacers coming up. Look at the batsmen also and compared to previous versions we seemed to have players who have grown up making their game more suited to IPL. Pandyas, Kishan, Pant, Rana, Tripathi all seem to be much more confident and are genuine hitters.

For the first time I am seeing at least 10 Indian pacers bowling at 140+. That’s a sea change.
