No, not really. Understanding your game, playing to your strengths and being mentally strong is not the definition of "limited". I've never once seen someone like Steve Waugh being called a "limited" cricketer but I guess that's the term in vogue at ICF and maybe my definition of the term was off

Yes Bevan was pathetic in tests...couldn't play short bowling to save his life...he had a gun temperament in ODis which made him a success. Ask any Aussie Expert to name the top 40 Aussie players of all time and doubt Bevan will make it.

He has no access to a range of shots like many players who average similar have.Neither the technique. Have you seen him dancing down the pitch in swing conditions and defending. These street smart techniques along with great game sense is his USP. What has worked for him is his ability to read the game and use his own abilities in the best possible way at the right time. He has great hand eye coordination and power game. The term Limited is not usually used in the sense you are taking it to be and getting offended.

If i start getting offended by something said on an internet forum I wouldn't be around I was trying to figure out the definition of the term "limited" from the wonderfully knowledgeable folks at ICF and I think I got my answer Now I know the players who play to their strength and are mentally strong are "limited". Also learned that along with Dhoni, Bevan and Waugh were also "limited"
