Could Pandya have won us the game without that run-out?

BTW, off topic but Pandya should be next Indian skipper after Kohli (in 6 years time maybe). I see the spark in that guy....make his vice captain already.

Predicting next skipper after Kohli is just impossible. Back in 2007 who would have thought that Dhoni will be succeeded by then U-19 captain!

Most likely not.

But it would have been nice if he scored a century and took the innings as far as he could. He would not have won this match, but it would have given him (and the team) a major confidence in his batting for the future.

Also, the loss wouldn't seem so bad if we scored around 250 all out in 40 overs or so.

If he did, it would have gone down as best innings ever known to mankind.

Blame Jadeja to at least not give a chance for such an innings to happen. :wall:

Jadeja should be suspended for one series preferably WI series for his selfishness.:phehe:

Seriously that was the worst way it could have ended. If Pandya holed out in the deep..fair enough.

Then again a lot of things for us happened in the worst way they could have, that kind of a day.

For some reason they bowled a plethora of spin to him. We all know he is a beast against spin bowling. Think a quicker bowler would have come back on and induced a false stroke. But nevertheless a breathtaking innings.
