Yes. It would be around 8 runs required an over for 20 overs on a flat pitch. Pak would've been favored, but Pandya would've had a chance. 

 

His hitting ability is absurd, considering how lanky he is. He would essentially need 1 boundary an over for 20 overs to win it, plus his partners would've needed to stick around and take quick singles, but there was still a chance.

difficult to say. If he had continued without getting out, in hindsight, he would've brought it close. But a win was extremely unlikely, especially considering the fact neither Pandya or jadeja are comfortable against pace. They would've relied on targeting the overs of spinners.

Was listening to Kohli in press conference and according to him team was hopeful when Pandya was batting. The reason why he looked so angry after getting out was because he apparently felt it was his day. Maybe Kohli is playing to the gallery then

I was gutted...absolutely gutted. That innings really gave me hope for few minutes. But nothing went our way today :(

He was spanking spinners. Would have been in trouble against Pace. Winning was not possible from there, but would have loved to see how he goes about against Amir and Hasan Ali. That would have tested him and given much needed exposure.
