Brainfade Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 (edited) On Feb 3, the resident ICF idiot posted this article: Going back and reading it, especially the last 2 paragraphs, makes me want to laugh out loud and barf all at the same time! Edited June 21, 2017 by Brainfade Ankit_sharma03 1
Cricketics Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Its still a great time, all you need to do is not watch Indian news channels which will be running soap operas and brainwashing people or throwing tidbits like Pakistani Journalist's voodoo curse is the reason why India is knocked out etc. We are going into transition slowly even though not fully. And I am looking forward to the test series against Lanka along with South African tour. All I know is that we lost in the final at this time and any team can lose in the final. It was a big loss, yes, but we still reached finals. Kumble/Kohli chapter is sad, but I rather not think about it at this time. Good thing is that I don't have access to Indian news channels. I will also recommend you guys to not watch the drama on those channels.
veer Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Lol.. easy brainfade. We are still a lot better side than people are making it out to be. Just had a hiccup.. Think about a brit fan.. they had the cup so close twice... this time they beat everyone so convincingly and lost only when it was knock out.. I think it was the case of "Jab Allah Meherban to Gadha bhi Pahelwan.. " Adi_91 and SK_IH 2
Tibarn Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 There is drama with the coach and captain, which may be over now that Kumble is gone. Our team is still the best overall team across formats: #1 in Tests, #3 in ODIs and #4 in T20s. ykvyas 1
Brainfade Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 (edited) @Cricketics @Tibarn @veer It is not about that particular match. $h1t happens on any given day. I had talked about how there was no ego-drama any more unlike in the past. 4 months later, huge ego drama erupts. Hopefully it doesn't divide the dressing room. Edited June 22, 2017 by Brainfade
Ankit_sharma03 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 To be honest Post 2000 has been the best time , there have been low points as well but which team hasnt had that This superstar culture have been blamed during every captains era Also this coach captain drama - ganguly chappell was way worst
coffee_rules Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 (edited) Even in worst of ego clashes of yore, never has dirty linen been washed in public , like today. BCCI officials feeding hyena media with damage control stories on whom to blame, deleting tweets is the worst. Lowest point earlier was Kapil Dev crying on Live TV over Prabhakar's allegations, to prove his innocence. But , they were ex players. Edited June 22, 2017 by coffee_rules
