I'm not so sure about Kohli against spin either although he has improved much.

Playing spin is not a problem any more, although he has sufficient room to get better.

He has certainly come a long way since his first few years, but he is not in the class of VVS and others of the 1990s when playing spin IMO.

No one can hit all short balls from the middle of the bat. It's not like he got hurried or was hopping on a 130 kph bouncer. You are bound to play mistimed shots on short balls every now and then.

a pitch that has even bounce is not a flat pitch, its just a pitch. On the other hand a pitch that has lack of bounce is a flat pitch, more interestingly a pitch that has bounce but not even bounce is a disaster which is what WI have, but both teams played in the same pitch so its down to the players who played the later overs in both the teams who made the difference when the pitch would have eased out.
