Bhuvneshwar, Dhawan released from India Test squad

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan have been released from India's Test squad against Sri Lanka on personal grounds, the BCCI announced on Monday.

While Bhuvneshwar has pulled out for the remainder of the Test series, Dhawan will be available for selection for the third Test, which starts from December 2 in Delhi.

No need for 2 spinners on a green wicket. 5th bowler did very little in Kolkata. I would play V.Shankar since Bhuvi's loss will extend our tail.

i doubt Nagour and Delhi pitches can be as quick or bouncy as Eden. Eden is relaid intentionally to be a quick pitch. Soil was imported for that. Difficult to change inherent nature of Delhi soil. Nagpur was was relaid with mixed soil.

Exactly right.

Jadeja's batting and bowling are not good enough to do well in GREEN Mamba's..he failed in test1 both as a batsman and as a bowler.kohli had to bowl himself ahead of the Spinners , only showed how Unimpressive Spinners were on the green track.

i think jadeja may no even fly to africa, CHAHAL is doing wonders and can turn even on green tracks, i will not be surprised if CHAHAL and Kuldeep are supported more in green tracks as jaddu and ashwin  seem to be flopping on GREEN tracks and suceed big on spinning tracks.

it is too much to believe that other countries will give us spinning tracks.
