People call ball seaming away after pitching from right hand batsman outswing but that actually not outswing. Swing happens in the ear, not off the pitch. Anderson is the swing bowler in truest sense. BK too when debuted but he is adding other things now.

when you have an upright seam, you are bound get some swing in the air in conducive conditions, still i wont term him a typical swing bowler.

Avesh isn’t fast. He has a heavy ball. He would be clocked normally at around 130-135k’s!

Avesh was bowling most deliveries at  139 k to 142 k in the only IPL match he played before pulling a hamstring.

 

However, he might be slower in 5-day matches as of today.

 

His speeds in that IPL match in the first 2 overs

 

135 k

141 k

141 k

141 k

139 k

141 k

 

140 k

142 k

140 k

134 k

140 k

139 k

 

He bowled a 142 k delivery again,  later in the match even after his hamstring pull.

Thanks! I remember him from the U19 matches where his speeds were not express but was mighty effective.

I think he must have bowled at least two balls at 145k...v called them heavy balls.

They came at super speed to Samson who could not handle the speed..it definitely was faster than 140k or 141k else Samson would not have got out two times of two consecutive balls..first one was not caught but second one was caught by bowler.

 

To get a batsman like Samson out of two consecutive balls is not easy.
