Cricketics Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Many people who just look at averages or strike rates at times of a bowler often look at stats and just see how certain bolwrer did not pick any wicket while the bowler from the other end has wickets. Mavi here is unplayable for Pakistani bats and has given just 5 runs. He keeps on putting pressure while the bowler from the other end is getting the wickets. Porel is bowling well but it is Mavi who is putting some serious pressure. Mavi has bowling with serious pace at 90mph. He might remain unwarded in terms of wickrts but he is the one who is dismantling Pakistani line up silently. MCcricket, Rightarmfast and Mosher 3
Dada's Army Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Yeah, he's bowling great. Got a lovely inswinger too. A pace demon who's also skilful. KKR Fans right now express bowling 1

Ticsji, I hope now you understand the wisdom of this article (http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/22233969/ishant-sharma-india-lifeline). It is about two strikers going for the goal but one always passes the ball and the other scores the goal. The striker who scores the goal will have tremendous statistics to boast of unlike the one who passes the ball. But in reality both are equally valuable for team's victory. sandeep 1

What you mean by I Hope you now understand? I have been talking about the above since ages when public wnated to show me Bhuvi’s statistics for ODI’s when I knew he has bowled better than the stats. I am a fast bowler myself, I know what it feels day in day out to bowl in the heat and get away wih 1 or 2 wickets while dibbly dobbly spinners take 4fers and 5fers where 3-4 wickets come of shyt deliveries caught just around the bounndary line which could have been a six. sandeep 1
Laaloo Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Pair him with Ishant and pankaj Singh and they can form the unlucky attack. saik, express bowling, Kohlifan and 2 others 5
MCcricket Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 This guy Mavi is a serious talent, I would pick him over Ishant in ODi, test n t20, he was too good for the kids at this level, they could not even connect. Cricketics 1
The Dark Horse Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 IMO, in terms of control he's better than Nagarkotti.
