Gambit
He's batting really well but unfortunately, given the next T20 world cup is 2.5 years away, this may not have any immediate positive consequences for the Indian team.

Most likely, Pant, Iyer, Kohli wont reach playoffs. so, his competition will be his own team mates in Rayudu, Watson and Williamson from SRH. Rahul and Gayle from KXIP. Rahul is dew big scores and Pant will be looking to score a 100 in next 5 games, which he missed out last season. Runs scored in play offs don't count towards orange cap tally.. I might be wrong

This has no significance for T20 world cup, this is only IPL peak and hopefully some form in International ODIs till WC 2019. That is crucial, anything after 2019 WC is pointless, he is not going to play or should not be playing internationals after that. Garuda
Shunya
What is the reason for this sudden power boost? It cannot be as easy as just start gyming and you hit so many sixes. This year he will cross his highest tally ever. A washed out player, who could not hit anyone outside the circle(as per ICF CKT) and with broken back, it should be impossible for this power resurgance. yoda
I like the sense of urgency that,he has while batting. However same old bone headed moves with batting order.

adi B
Dhoni is playing fearlessly because he has a point to prove after all the criticism about his slow batting recently (rightly so) and also that with the long batting order that csk have ,he can afford to cut loose straight away . when playing for India it's totally the opposite ,dont know why he becomes so timid all of a sudden
