We would if we had better players complimenting Kohli. It's a poor attempt to compare Sharma to Kohli, the latter is almost considered an ATG.

who are these so called match winners n players u are talking about n we have no idea about their existence

He was the 2nd highest run scorer in CT after Dhawan (another player who is mediocre in your dictionary). I am not a fan of Sharma, but lets give credit where its due. He avg 76 in CT last year.

We have mostly played  against Sub Continent teams in that tournament, whenever we had to face a strong opponent he simply fails. He likes to play against minnows where the bowling has nothing to offer. This is not going to help Indian team in anyway.

Guys stop wasting time now that it is known Rohit got only one chance to clear YO-Yo test.

Note to Conspiracy theorist: Indian media has been drop dead silent after Rohit's tweet. Usually media is vindictive and had Rohit been telling lies they would have made more hoopla to serve two purpose : 1)more masala news more drama

2)Revenge for calling media liar.

That's him playing at his best, agreed. Check his Sr though. We posted a par totals in spite of two openers scoring over 300 runs, even SL managed to chase down our total.

Let's forget he's pretty useless when chasing, when the pitch is not flat or against good bowling attacks, even when everything is in his favour  he was scoring at a Sr of 85.

Without RGs great contributions how do you think India would have done?

Lost to Bangla in semis? Chasing 260

In the league phase, he failed against SA as expected.

The other two matches, inpite of his "Anchoring" we posted sub par totals.

Why exactly do we need this guy?

No, it is not. Media does not belong to Sadjeh or anyone.

Also, why did you not show your love towards what pollack's comment. What wrong did he say?

Why do you always find politics in everything. Why don't you see from the view point of the players and may be he is being honest here!!!

Name that youngster?

Kl can bat at 4, n we need a no 4 badly

Agarwal, Gill, Shaw, Pant.. Now you don't say show me the proof.. It's not that hard to surpass Rohit the FTB.. They may even turn out to be better than him and can even perform on bowlers friendly wickets.. We don't know unless we try out these options because Sharma is a sitting duck against good bowlers.

See rohit is a big game player in the LOI. I dont like the guy but we got to be fair.

But i see his "passing" the yoyo as simply another fundamental trait of weakness in Indian society. Rules are always bent be it in politics or everyday life or anything else. Thats not to say other countries (especially in the west) dont bend the rules. Life is never fair. In India however they are bent all the time at will.

Speaks volumes about India as a country.

aggarwal has always messed his opp and he wud be more of sitting duck then rohit on seaming tracks, his technique is way more loose

gill is more of middle order

Shaw- ru kidding me , the guy was caught by ipl team with hsi spin problem in 3 games

Pant - his state or ipl side doesnt make him open

u think its easy to have 50+ avg for 5 yrs

pant cudnt even maintain consistency in 2 ranji season

Just some baseless statements.

1. Agarwal just hit his third century in the ongoing Eng tour.

2. Rohit was a flop when he first introduced into LOIs and he was batting in the middle order. So it's not unusual for batsmen to change their batting positions and Gill could do the same.

3. Rohit has failed numerous times against good bowling attacks and that's a fact.

4. KL Rahul is an opener. There are like 4-5 players who can easily replace Rohit Sharma, at the moment.

He can bat at 4, a place we have no option currently for. M up for rahul to open but their aint a good option at number 4 apart from him

There is nothing special about Rohit's international numbers. He has been the biggest FTB the game has ever seen. Anyone can easily replace this guy.

There are different types of flat tracks and he mostly thrives on wickets with low bounce. He was a failure in SA tour bar one odd performance. Good bowlers need not green surfaces to exploit his weakness.

Rohit Sharma is garbage. India would be better dumping him in all formats and allow KL Rahul to take his place.

Rohit Sharma

Can't play swing - inswing, outswing or reverse swing....doesn't matter

Can't play pace

Can't play spin

Can't play away

Can only play medium pace srilanka and WI trundlers on flat Indian tracks

That flabby guy is a liability! Dhawan and Rahul are plenty, NoH!t should be dropped.

It's just the marathi manhoos population wanting to see their son of the soil be a part of the team! The guy has played for soo long and can never be relied upon. Is a walking wicket in challenging conditions.

This is so cute.

Such over zealous and pretentious display of anger :hatsoff:

I'll let you in on a little secret. Rohit Sharma isn't Marathi. Most people in Mumbai aren't.

But don't let facts affect your narrative.
