What happened to this guy Priyank Panchal. I would even consider Mayank Agarwal. May be a flop in T20. But he may be better suited for Tests. Gill, Shaw. We have lot of batsmen. Pujara is far from irreplacable. At this point i would play Ashwin as a specialist batsman instead of Pujara.

But the issue is his changes are even worse like test discards Rohit, Dhawan or over the hill players like Gambhir. Name one youngster who has been consistently given chance over his 4 years of captaincy? Then how can one groom a replacement for Pujara?

How many runs has Pujara scored in recent county games? No harm in giving a young , talented guy a chance to perhorm. Thats how u give young players a break. On current form, Gill will definitelty score more runs then Pujara.
