Mental midget Karthick fails again in a big match with only 2 needed off 2 balls and a poor bowler bowling.

Mentally tough Ashwin delivers with the bat under pressure.

Internationsl cricket is more about absorbing pressure than about ability.

Pant is a big match player and does well in Australia.

Get him in.

Forget about performances in low key bilaterals.

Yes, TM need to set the expectations that Pant is not MS Dhoni.
He is someone who can give you a quick starts and maximize the powerplay, anything more than that is just a bonus.

Use him that way and expect quick 20-25 runs from him of 12-15 balls, others can capitalize on that momentum and can take some time to set before moving on.
MSD when debuted and used by Greg Chappell as a pinch hitter at no 3 used to be super inconsistent...but was a match winner when clicked.

Well hasn't even performed in small games, so no point talking about clutchness.

Plus, he performed in Australia in tests, at a strike rate of 60-80, will find it tough in T20s. Even failed in practices matches.

Yup, so lets keep on giving KL Rahul chances after chances, who will score at strike rate of 200 in Practice matches and then get an inside edge onto wicket while defending in pressure games.

What about match against Australia. Weak memory or what?

Yes, I am selectively biased against KL Rahul.
Be happy, if that suits your thought process.

Yes, you have. There was no need to drag.

Need to cut Batsmen some slack. Ind Pak matches are high pressure like no other. Besides Pak have really good new ball bowlers. That's their biggest strength.

Our top order performs better against SENA than they do against Pak. Need to back them.

Yes, you have. Otherwise this comparison has no grounds.

Everything is lying in front, if you don't wanna see that then I can't help.

Washington Sundar not out  37  off 16 balls in an ODI.

3 sixes and 3 fours off pacers Milne, Henry and Southee.

Looks like he has worked on his late order hitting

Great signs !!

This will help us a great deal, Imagine him playing at 6 or 7, will improve the balance of the team

Gill is learning selfish batting from Dhawan just to make sure his place remains cemented in the 15. He wasn't selfish during the early part of the year. He has some liability in terms of switching gear but he generally scores at 100+ SR in the first 15 overs.

he should play in top 4 or top 5 in both ODIs and tests. has the game and the range to do it.

A completely different kind of knock from.the last one by Washington Sundar

51 runs with his team at 120 odd for 5 snd the ball nipping around.

This is the kind of batter we need and he can easily bat in the top 6.

He need to work on his strike rotation though, with likes of Chahal and Arshdeep he can't take single on first ball of the over and go to non-striker's end.
If he's gonna bat in lower middle order, batting with the tail is what he will need to improve.
