Worth noting that Kohli failed completely at the age of 26 in England. Wouldn't be too harsh on Rahul.

Absolutely he can get better only by playing. He just needs to work a tad harder and do slightly adjustment but till the time he has batted he looked solid

Kohli failed miserably in last home series averages 9, even after being successful for so long. Rahul is still establishing hims of in opner role. He can improve only by playing and working harder, opners job are really tough in any condition. You see English opners. Cook having so much experience and more than 10 k runs is unable to by a 50.

People need to stop using Rahul and Kohli in same sentence. Rahul has flopped in two consecutive series six months apart.

He has lot of technical problems too. He cannot complain that he didn’t chances.
