How are they same

Pandya power hitting is one of the best , pandya has far better technqiue against pace n bounce and can destroy spinner to

Jadeja batting shud be compared to bhajji , n bhajji might outscore him

After 40 odd matches Pandya's ODI average is 29 vs Jadejas 31.  Nothing to show that pandya has better technique. Jaddu is also a pretty good hitter.

As I said this is only for subcontinent pitches. Jaddu would obviously take more wickets than pandya in Subcontinent. Overseas Pandya should be preferred for his bowling

It is time that people stop comparing Pandya w/ bowlers who can bat too .... Pandya is in a different league as a batsman than these bowlers who can bat too. Pandya can be played just for his power hitting and ability to get big scores quickly

Average of 29 is definitely not "Different League". He cannot be played for batting alone that would be ridiculous .

No 7 in ODI should be flexible. Pretty sure in subcontinent Axar/ Krunal / Jaddu can do the job. And pandya is fixed for that position for now overseas

Go watch

Ind vs SA 1st test

Ind vs ENG 1st 3 test where he showed more application then most batsman

Ind-A vs Aus-A - got runs on a greentop on cloudy day where all indian batsman failed

This cnt happen without technique

At no.7 more then avg , s/r matters

Jaddu s/r at 7 is 82

pandya 118

Jaddu hitter, does that s/r of 82 says he is hitter :hysterical:

The number of games we have lost with him at 7 is insane

Did u see pandya hitting in CT 2013, before jaddu did his idiotic act

or 3 sixes in 3 balls in CT 1st game against Pak

JAddu has been abysmal at 7 even in subcontinent

In subcontinent at 7

Jaddu - avg 35, s/r -77  ( good hitter :hysterical::hysterical:)

Pandya - avg 40 s/r- 116

Avergae for lower order doesn't matter. S/R matters.

A difference of two runs and pandya Trump's jadeja in s/r with 118 vs 82. That is significant.

in last 2 yrs

Jadhav hasnt done much apart from that 1 series against eng

Dhoni is not even a shadow of his past

we dnt have a no.4

So who else is left

what has pandya done apart from one series against Australia. If guy averaging 29 is our fourth best bat then god save India team.

Dhoni and jadhav still better than Pandya.

Your comments are hypocritical to say the least. You are saying Jaddu 87 in Last test was a slog fest . But the innings u have mentioned as examples of Pandya's technique  - 90 in SA batting with tail and slogging ..50 in England playing for declaration .. if those are examples of technique why not the Jaddu's 87 in last test.

This is just player Bias at its best. If the pitch is slow and crumbling in subcontinent it makes perfect sense to go with Axar or jadeja or Krunal at no 7 for their bowling.
