zen
Oh boy! .... another failure at Adelaide .... Should this be his last test? Hazlewood to Rahul, OUT, loose drive and that's been taken at third slip! This is full and gets it to shape away a touch, Rahul enticed to drive, no feet movement and ends up getting a thick edge that has been superbly taken by Finch with his fingers pointing upwards. Rahul's second Australia tour has started quite poorly, and to a poor stroke. KL Rahul c Finch b Hazlewood 2 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 25.00 Link to comment
Straight Drive
Failed again. Drop him for the sake of Indian team. Playing totally out of form players overseas is a blunder.2 runs..Seriously... velu 1 Link to comment

Openers contribution is very important and when we have two openers who are failing series after series, change is required. Shame Prithvi Shaw got injured. Maybe he would have shown the seniors how to bat. velu 1 Link to comment

Straight Drive
Scored 7 runs for Australia. Dropped Starc on 1 run. Scored 2 with the bat. Already -5 zen 1 Link to comment
rtmohanlal
it is a shame that we can't find reliable variety options w.r.t opening, preferably a left-right & defensive-aggressive combination. Rahul has been far from adequate for the post.....no technique or temperament for opening... Link to comment
Frustrated
I was wondering how come this joke of an opener is still out there in the middle. But alas !! Link to comment

Is there anyone else who did as averagely as him and still played more test than him as opener ? Link to comment

Or Even Tamil Nadu lobby (M Vijay is also among the world's worst openers in tests right now. He won't even make it to the Bangladesh playing eleven). What wrong Mayank Agarwal/Shubham Gill have done, I hv no clue. Link to comment

Even i was one who got on to the talk of Virat Kohli beuing insecure of this so called batting great. Agarwal has issues with fast paced bowling but he atleast deserves a chance. Shubman Gill might make the team once these two failures are replaced. Edited December 8, 2018 by Straight Drive Link to comment

Vk1
Hope Rahul doesn't think that he's there to give aggressive starts like Sehwag did. He should look to cross atleast 50 and then play the attacking shots. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
jf1gp_1
he first showed he can bat like an opener and then after doing all the hard work he showed he can also bat like an a$$. All runs after 25 were bonus. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

rtmohanlal
this guy just doesn't have the technique and temperament to play long inns on difficult pitches. 44 today was a good knock, but these 40s won't impact matches any way UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Guys. Hold your horses Lets see after the match This 44 after match finished maybe seen as crucial knock in a great win! UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
