He continued the presuit. He shot the F-16. The debri of the ac hit his cockpit which was unfortunate. His shield cracked and he ejected. On landing he tired to cross the border. He shot several shots from his pistol towards the civilians who were perusing him. Just captured 2 Kms from the border has he had hurt his right leg on landing. Did not give up. When the army came he surrendered on assurance of the JCO who failed to protect him from the civilians thrashed him. Once Capt Amir Sayeed reached the sight he immediately treated the offr with dignity and brought him safely to the Bn Hq. The unit 7 NLI. Infact they (the villagers) beat up their own pilot thinking them to be indian.....before being rescued by their Army....Pak PM had said we have three of them....one has been caught and two in jungle....then he made statement there are two and one is in hospital (who was actually one of the Pakistani f16 pilot beaten by locals)......Pakistani f16d twin seater was shot down by Abhinanadan in his primitive mig21 before going down himself.....hats off to him --- Usually don't forward mssages on WA, but this one for the hero. Reprts said, one of the Pakistani pilot was caught by their own and thrashed thinking he was indian. They rescued him and admitted to the military hospital. The F-16 was a twin-pilot aircraft.
