Looks likely at this point. Nzl looks solid as well. No one is talking about SA yet. First time they are not a top 2 team so they have no bogey attached this time. WI and Pak are maverick teams. You can never count them out totally. We have to really raise our game. Not a cakewalk to semis as some people are saying. We have loads of issues
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 7 down. I bet they still have the potential to win even from here.
maniac Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 High quality cricket this very exciting. Pak-Afghan was battle of the minnows so evened out to an exciting game. Indian team and matches are so boring and plodding.
zen Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) The last 5 batsmen can get at 7 an over in the last 10-12 overs on good batting surfaces. What Eng does well is that the top 6-7 set it up for others to succeed so even if they fail to finish off, the tail has a chance to win it. If someone from top 6-7 is there till the end, there are no problems of course with RRR in control and tail still in if required Edited May 25, 2019 by zen
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Rat should learn the field set from Aussies. They have cover for every possible shot
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) Woakes wicket was key. He was timing every single ball beautifully. But field placing of Finch was excellent. Lot of his very good shot went to the fielder Edited May 25, 2019 by vvvslaxman
ipl is fun Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 i thought they would send Archer before Rashid. as Archer is in the batting list
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Plunkett gone. 9 down. No Root, No morgan they are still making fist of it. INdia would have been all out for 230
vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Australia wins. Every single ball from Stoinis and Kane was a slower ball.
