Nikhil_cric Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 England are without Morgan but their bowling has reached another level with the inclusion of Mark wood and Archer whereas a rejuvenated Australia with Smith, Warner, an in form Maxwell and a powerful bowling attack look like the only team capable of matching England's depth and firepower. This will also be a test for both teams as the ground was used recently and may not be as conducive for fast scoring.
Gollum Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) 1st of 3 matches against each other this WC. Edited May 25, 2019 by Gollum
Jvoxx Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 For the first time in the recent history of Wcs we have a strong England Side than Australian.
Forward Defence Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Starc/Cummins vs Wood/Archer. Some serious pace on display today.
ShankarShailendra Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 (edited) England Vs Australia deserved to be the opening match in this world cup. Edited May 25, 2019 by ShankarShailendra
Forward Defence Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Smith looks in fine touch. Got a 100 and just hit a ridiculous six off Plunkett. Worrying signs for opposition bowlers
Franco Vazquez Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Australia is overrated to be honest. There’s nothing I see in this team which rings me as a champion. Weak lower order and quite average bowling as well except Starc and Cummins
Forward Defence Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 No frenetic scoring from England today so far. Australia haven't even used Starc and Cummins
Sandeep99 Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Aussies are looking deadly, and without even bothering to play Starc and Cummins.. against the tournament favorites. I think #6 is on the cards. Finch is a lucky man..

Warner to provide powerful starts and Maxwell to tee off. What more does any team need?
Sandeep99 Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Only Buttler and Morgan will stand between Australia and world cup. My 2 cents...
Clarke Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 Hats off to Aussie fighting spirit. Smith is back in flow, Lyon bowling beautifully. An Aus-Eng final might be apt.

vvvslaxman Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 5 down. They have two lower order batting. They are still in it. No root No morgan in the side. That is how our pathetic our batting line up is
zen Posted May 25, 2019 Posted May 25, 2019 only run a ball is required of the last 50 balls or so. There was no real need to play that shot by Mooen. Anyways, an opportunity to spend time in the middle for others
