Rat's field placement watch

Having seen the few matches already, teams botched up their chances by not having the right fielder in right place. For instance, you need a gully for Jason Roy always. Also not having second slip cost a few catches. Hope Rat doesn't screw up the chances by not having an extra slip or a gully when needed. Rohit is pretty good with his field placement overall. For spinners Dhoni does okay job.  Hope rat consults them.

Good to know that if the field placement is good, it is Rohit and Dhoni. If it is not good it is Kohli. When at least 2 of them have played in all the games

Kohli should just stay at long on for the whole game. The unfortunate part of having captain Kohli is that you have him in the slips where he is worst

If these 2 bigwigs mess up you can always count on experts who know all about long legs, fine legs, inside out, third man (hopefully not ), deep cover point, slip up etc

 

Kohli should simply shut up, take part in the toss, bat well and most importantly avoid either of these extremes.

More then field placement a lot wud depend on his body language . Field placement also depends on bowlers execution but virat maintaining his cool will entirely be on him

There is not a whole lot of difference between how he captains for RCB how he does for India except he has some sensible guys giving him advice.
