Exactly considering all the hypes associated with this match with 2 country on the verge of war, intial talk of boycott, premiere opener and motm of last match out and other than Han that he dint get to bat in odi from past 2 years and batted at 4 directly in WC. And than opening in mother of all matches occupying an opening slot as make shift and given a 100 run partnership in fresh swinging pitch , I think he deserves atleast 8 points for his performance. Ajju Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Waiting for Rohit kind of long destructive innings from KL which he is capable bahubali 1

I have no problem with giving extra chances to players with more natural talent but our management gave chances to rayudu while not giving a much younger KL Rahul , who is probably the most gifted player in this side, time to settle in . Pant also has received unbelievable levels of scrutiny while DK has been given license to do whatever the hell he wants. Gollum and bahubali 2
nevada Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 If he had batted a while longer he could have closed down the balls-runs gap. Other than that gap and his soft dismissal, it was a fine innings considering the circumstances. I would rate it a 7/10.
Pandya_Power Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 To me the pull shot he played off Amir in the 5th oevr was the shot of the match. We now have 3 players with the ability to take the attack to the short pitched stuff!! We have come a long way since the T20 WC in 2009.
mishra Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I have a feeling that he has set his own expectation and standards higher than what we witnessed. For most fans, His performance was 6+ or borderline 7. Fingers crossed, he maintains the hunger and desire to do better
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 He is being modest here. I think his innings was brilliant...they way he see off the new ball and threat of Amir was phenomenal. Of course one cant expect him to match with Rohit Sharma in stroke play but he complimented him brilliantly. KL Rahul's innings yesterday reminded me of Kaif's innings against Pak in 2003 world cup. Not sure if any one remembers?
