We saw the grip Santner was getting vs Pak at Edgbaston. Jadeja could be good on that kind of pitch. How about he replace Kuldeep, and we get Bhuvi in too. Tough to pick one out of Shankar and Jadhav, feel that Jadhav is a bit better as a batsman. Id go with

 

Rohit, Rahul, Virat, MSD, Pandya, Jadhav, Jadeja, B K, Shami, Jasprit, Chahal

 

Batting looks light but Jadeja and BK between them can get the runs to make up for one less bat. The bowling looks good with all 3 pacemen, Jadeja, Chahal ...Pandya to chip in

No, Pant should replace him. My top 7 is as follows: Rohit, Pant, Kohli, Rahul, MSD, Jadhav, Pandya

 

IMO, our real weakness is at No. 4 even more than Nos. 6 and 7, where we have decent-to-good players. Having Pant open and giving him license to attack while also playing himself in (and not slogging from ball 1 as he would at 7) will enable him to play a Gilly-type enforcer role.
