Pitches have become so slow that it looks like making even 250 in the second innings is a herculean task.

Pray Kohli wins the two tosses that matter.

Also, bat 2nd during the Lanka game if we win the toss to gain some practice.

Unless there is lots of help for seamers when bowling first but its hard to predict that. Captains have banked on seamers taking early wickets only to concede 300+ totals in this WC.

i think the weather has decidedly turned in england,you have to win the toss and bat first.

Should have the toss 24 hrs in advance. Literally no point turning up if your team loses it and has to chase this world cup

generally Aussies are the least affected in such scenario, but they too are no exceptions

Yes, pretty much. Bat first, start cautiously at 30-40 in the first 10 overs without losing wickets, put up 300 total and win the match.
