Tricky if nz don’t bat again

237 in 46 overs or 147 in 20

 

both are markedly more difficult than what nz were heading to . Hope we don’t get robbed a la South Africa due to rains - if u have a reserve day than why revise all such targets . Semi finals are not league games and paying public wants rightful winners to go to finals 

 

it will be a shame to see this nz side go to finals .

In case New Zealand doesn't bat again, India's target in
46 overs will be 237
40 overs - 223
35 overs - 209
30 overs - 192
25 overs - 172
20 overs -148

Really difficult

148 in 20 overs with all 10 wickets in hand and with no chance for the ball to get old on a slow pitch is not a bad bargain..

65-2 in first 10, with 80 odd to get in the next 10, with 8 wickets in hand is a fair chance to win the game, specially when we bat till 9 in this game..

What kind of non-sense calculation is this?  NZ were 70 odd in 25 overs and DL target is 172? 100 runs extra for just losing 4 overs?

I hope all of it is washed out and we go through because those targets are ridiculous. Full match we win, if not we finished top, kiwis go home.

its not a easy pitch . Yes they batted poorly but I wait to pass judgement until we bat . Until then all these scores just sound ridiculous especially for a semi match .

It's perfectly appropriate. If NZ knew they only had 25 overs in the match they wouldn't have only scored 70
