No I'll rather blame the poor umpires for their biased ,ridiculous umpiring in favour of England time and again. 

I watch test matches played in England closely, over the last few years they've always got the 50-50 calls in their favour ,if someone presents/accumulate a data ,we'll find that. 

Assume if there was another appeal the next ball (another plumb lbw call) ,the umpire would have again given it not out ,I bet !

Stokes did choke in the end but Umpire Joe fricking Wilson bailed him out.He should have taken that single before that runout and LBW .It would have been tie atleast then.

So when the umpires gave England players out in this match, and the decisions were overturned, how would you explain that then?

You can't expect to win games with Root as captain hence where buying umpires comes in handy.

Lucky or not, it’s very difficult if not impossible to score  ALL the runs with no support down the order. His hitting was clean especially the sixes and found gaps almost eveytime. This was a superman effort and he had done that on quite a few occasions now. Bowled with venom too. Truly a great AR in the making. Certainly the best ATM..

 

Aus could have finished this in 2 balls..but that Lyon choke and the horrendous review taken cost them..still it was Stokes game..Hats off !!!!!!

England won this at home with the help of umpires against tired bowlers on a relatively flat pitch .

You are spot on England should have lost both world cup finals and this test.If the roles were reversed they would be cursing  till next 50 years.

You've got to play it safe in between ,but when the masters need the help especially at the crunch situations ,you must serve them !

Why should umpires go scott free after making terrible decisions.NZ should have won the world cup and Aussies Ashes.But freaking umpires ruined them.Joe Wilson should be kicked out , players gets booted if they fail why can't umpires be booted out.
