Sarayamae engaluku sugarcane mathiri thaan :proud:

Take it easy on sarayam. If drinking socially and within limits that's fine. If you have any doubts about drinking and health effects go to webmd.com on how much is ok. I used to drink 4 kingfishers big ones and 10-15 cigarettes a day. The worst part is you can stop drinking but can't leave out smokes. Cigarette smoking is a nasty habit and is definitely addictive. Now I can't drink or smoke nor would I want to :fear1:and I'm taking pills everyday :(( Nowadays if I smell smoke when somebody lights up a cig, I feel how can someone smoke this stuff. It smells so bad once you have given it up.

As the saying goes, in your 20s you feel very strong and invincible. In your 30s, you still feel strong but somewhere you know you are not invincible. After 40s, you know you are not strong or invincible

I don't smoke .. I don't like it as well , maybe I am tolerant to nicotine :p:

Few years back four guys went to Bombay post ( Domlur ) , one of our colleague treated us for going to us for  higher studies ..

Next day 3 of us got admitted to hospital except me  :proud:

We shared the same drink and same food as well ..

Report from Manipal was that we took rat infested food , and for me it didn't do anything

It was like taking IPL Strategic timeout when the chasing side needs 2 runs in 4 overs :((

I myself too delayed paying the bill as long as possible like how Dhoni pushes the game to the last over :giggle:

Again this is the 20s mindset I was talking about. I was like this before as well feeling invincible. After the age of about 16, I used to feel like I can eat any food or drink outside and I won't get sick. I used to walk in rain and then in US wear warmer clothes in winter and I wont even catch a cold. This is what I call now "tough guy" behavior. I'm paying for it now. I'm just giving you a friendly warning about food and drink especially in this time and especially in India.

People used to be much more moral if you wanna call it like that 20 years back. And also population was less back then. Be careful about what you drink or eat. If possible, eat mostly home cooked food. Its still better than outside food. In my opinion, India have surpassed USA when it comes to greed. There is also less regulation here or can be circumvented by :money: Not saying USA is much better but they atleast have the FDA officer inspect restaurants for cleanliness and hygeine. I don't see anything of that sort here.

I have had experiences that will drive some people up the wall. Once we went to Yercaud and while returning to Chennai, me and my friends stopped for lunch. I was very hesitant about eating non-veg outside that too in the highway. One of my friends eats non-veg almost daily and he forced us to go there. We were obviously eating biryanis and my friend ordered another item. When we were waiting for it, I saw a rat eating from the pieces that were thrown down the floor near the next table. I told my other friend and he said this is normal. I totally lost my appetite after that. If this was the US or at the very least India 20 years back, people would be clamoring for the restaurant to be shut down or atleast raise a shout to the restaurant owner. Today's generation is weak and full of cowardice and want of having more.

I have tasted carlsberg beer in US and India. Its not the same here. Here they do with local water and it tasted very Indian beer like. When greed and money come into play and it often does more frequently when it comes to alcohol which is considered a vice throughout the world, you get cheap quality liquor. You can't rail against it and complain that's not gonna do you no good. Just consume in smaller quantities. Control your "tough guy" behavior because those who don't drink or drink less, can keep their health / preserve their youth. The same applies to jerking off too much. Not good. Everyone ages and when they hit the 30s, they are still strong but they drop the "tough guy" attitude of youth

Also on a side note, Mars is the "tough guy" planet and is associated with youth but it is more useful when it doesn't go looking for trouble. Murugan, our Tamil god also known as Subhramanya in other parts of India is worshipped on Tuesday which is based on Mars. Murugan is always youthful, courageous. Pretty much every male born in TN is named after Muruga. My name is also based on that. Mars is always at odds with Saturn. Both are malefics. But for you and me who are Scorpio ascendant, Mars is ok but Saturn is not. Saturn is responsible for alcohol, immoral acts like bribery, robbery, also old people, physically handicapped, etc. So be careful of alcohol. Don't drink like me a few years ago or like Shastri. I believe bewda has a good Saturn because he can drink all he wants, people mock him all the time but he keeps on going like it doesnt matter
