Kohli could have done a lot better. When new comers like Vihari,  completely out of sorts Rahane,  bowlers Jadeja & Ishant  could  out do  him .there seems a bit of concern. Captaincy syndrome as is the case with Root & Williamson??

Vihari and Rahane stopped the rut.Otherwise It would have been Melbourne 2018 test again where Indian collpased to 106.When you bat again by not enforcing the follow on you want to bat other team out of the game and keep the pressure on, that you do by proactive batting.

 

 Nobody is asking them to bat at 6 RPO but 63 balls 6 runs and a collpase keeps other team in the game.It was stupid batting of highest order before Vihair and Rahane changed the tide.

 

That is called helping other team.
