Pakistan team in world cup events

I was just checking Pakistan's performance in recent world cup events since 1999 and looks like these guys do only well when they are in England where their bowling attack suddenly rises to the top exploiting those swinging conditions.. Otherwise they hardly seem to win or even reach the finals of world cups.. in rare cases when they do well they do it with the help of chukmals etc..  this notion that pak is a dangerous team or the feeling that they can defeat any team anywhere seems to be a major myth going by their results in recent ICC events..  shouldn't the cricketing fraternity realize this and not hype up the Pak teams every-time ?

Good teams like Srilanka or New Zealand seem to get very little applause for their excellent record and Pak is always hyped up by all the retired cricketers or commentators..

seriously dude.. that ended the day when you lost the 2003 Centurion game..  pls don't check  India vs Pak record in last 10 years.. it will be painful

eng condition suits them

No doubt they are unpredictable which went against them this time. They did beat England, NZ  this Wc who defeated us and they got bulldozed by WI.....so they are very unpredictable . Only thing that predictable is they ll loose from India in Wc

NZ loss was pathetic selection from India. 

 

Eng pitch favored them more. Pak played Eng quite a bit and got trashed then learned what is needed, they prepped well for the WC you gotta give them that.

Winning or defeat depends on how u play that day

NZ vs Pak- Pak did play better

NZ vs Ind- NZ played better

Losing streak to India in w.c is not going to end anytime soon.. my point was that Pak is definitely not the mercurial team it is attributed to be.. it is at best a better version of west indies..
