2020 No international cricket for India for 7 Months

On 18 March India play the last ODI of the series against South Africa.Indias next International match is 24th October against SA itself in the world t20.So basically for 7 months tehre is no international cricket which willbe played by India..is the BCCI Bosses sleeping? I know there is a 6 week IPL but that doesnt really prepare for international matches as you get flat pitches and domestic bowlers like Barinder Saran or Sandeep Warrier..Can anybody throw some light why is there this long gap??

Domestic Bowlers which you have mentioned by mistake are way better than the ones we have fielded recently against BD  and few intl sides

There is plenty of cricket but no Tests after 2 tests vs NZ in Feb, next Test series is vs Aus is in Dec-Jan immediately followed by 5 tests vs England. In between we play

Jun-July: SL tour  - 3 ODIs

Aug: vs Zim - 3 ODIs

Aug: Asia Cup (T20s)

Sept: vs Eng - 3 ODIs and 3 T20s

Oct: 3 T20s vs Aus
