No decent left arm fast bowler around? Few yrs back we had a bunch of them Irfan, Nehra, RP

And they were all ordinary bowlers. Don't need left armers just for the sake of it.

I said he looks like a faster hazelwood. Hazelwood is a 135-138 bowler. At times touches 140.

Kohli looks 140-145. Not sure about 150.

Hazelwood does bowl up to 145.

arshdeep, can be that guy,he has the height bowls with good control if he bulks up a bit can easily gain 6-8 kph which is more than enough, most importantly he bowls well with new ball

He bowls around 135-140 can,on top of that he is young another 6-8 kph he can easily crank upto 147-148 which is more than handy he is i think 6'3 so will be a vital asset for us

There is also prithviraj Yarra who is quicker

With this type of action he can't compromise on pace and got to have cracking yorkers, bouncers and change of pace. Can't depend on length balls.

Cant figure out from the video. Has good height and easy action. How quick is he?

He ain't express, not even close, capturing a video from certain angles can make pacers look a lot quicker, Nikhil at best is 127-133kph bowler, probably even slower, being optimistic is fine but over the top guess work not, a lot of the posters here claimed both akash Singh and kuldip Yadav were quick but when they debuted in the ipl for RR both were medium pace, the only.exlreee bowler in the country right now is umran Malik

Akash Singh is very young doesn't mean all of them are trundlers, same was said about Arshdeep did you notice?he has started to bowl a lot quicker from this season ,stop with your nonsense,i know what you are doing here, that is what you usually do,i guess good days for you and your side

Had Umran not played you would have branded him too in the 135 bracket

Few posters may exaggerate speeds of uncapped pacers not everyone ,infact almost noone exactly put a numerical assumption of their pace before they were actually clocked

Stop generalizing everything

The 140+ uncapped pacers are coming out of this setup only they aren't poached products

Well arshdeep in first class cricket bowls around 125kph-132kph, until he doesn't start bowling consistent 140kph in both first class and list a cricket he will never have a successful international, there are pacers who bowl can bowl quick, the likes of prithviraj Yarra, minad manjrekar, nalkande, Sushant Mishra can cramp it up, both non are express.

Bowling consistently between 135-140 will also do. Not necessary to have express pace. Express pace bowlers are rare commodity.

Arshdeep ain't any different compared to the likes of srinath arvind or unadkat a yard quicker maybe but overall nothing special, am sure once sushant Mishra makes his domestic debut and settles in domestic cricket he will eventually stand out as the best left armer in the country.

The post you are quoting isn't Nikhil Kohli. He is u19 bowler from Hyderabad. If you have actually watched Nikhil Kohli video, you wouldn't have said he is 127-133. This is Unadkat level of pace. :hysterical:

Here is Nikhil Kohli. @Mesky99

Watch the ball at 1:30. That's serious heat. Batsman has no clue. Look at how quickly it goes to the wk and the trajectory of the ball after pitching is flat and not loopy. We may not give exact speed numbers but some indications are there in the video to call him genuine quick. Also look at how wk collects that wide leg side ball that just flew with bounce in upward trajectory and pace.

And he even undakat would look quick from a certain angle, Nikhil kohli's basics are all over the place with a non fluent run up, all these under 23 bowlers look quick in these clips, pitches in CK nayudu are bowling friendly and most of these matches are played in tier 3/4 grounds. Harishankar Reddy in some of his videos looks express too but in reality that ain't the case.

Sushant and Arjun Tendulkar are the best left prospect right now. Khaleel is also improving. Arjun will take time but will eventually get there. He is a hard worker. A left arm fast bowler must have inswing against right handers. Both Sushant and Arjun have that. Akash is young and is a good prospect too. Has touched 140 on occasions.

Reddy doesn't look quick from any angle and it's not about angle. Ball at 1.30 is perfectly fine angle. You look at the time batsmen have to play him and the carry to wk.
