And KKR have retained Rana. That's a good sign as they have released 15 players.

KKR does show faith on young pacers, they shown faith on Prasidh, Mavi and Nagarkoti. Unfortunately Mavi didn't do too well and Nagarkoti was also a failure for limited chances he got.

Hope Harshit gets a game consistently in 2023, he did decently this year.

Some IPL franchise should buy Purnank Tyagi as well instead of wasting money over Sakariya, Unadkut or similar good for nothing Trundlers.

For sure.  Looks around 130 k to 140 k with bounce.

if we can have someone bowling 135+ consistently with trampoline-type (ambrose, walsh, mcg) bounce, that would be great. we have candidates like prasidh, but more are welcome

Rajasthan and UP...seems majority of fast bowlers are coming from these states only, maybe J&K as well.

This whole belt from J&K to Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand to Bihar are producing quicks, except Punjab and Haryana .

Would be interested in your thoughts as to why this is the case?

Why do certain parts of India groom certain kinds of players?

I presume its 100% related to the pitches played on in those states, but also to the physical and genetic build of Indians in those areas as well?

As an example, traditionally spinners in Australia are from Melbourne and Sydney. Pace bowlers from WA and Queensland, this is 100% due to pitches.
