how the hell did Abbas go to top 3 ever ? 
He is a real trundled - makes the thakurs  of the world look express pace ! 
Was he bowling on pitches that suited his style or did pak face extremely crappy sides 

 

finally , I think mohanty was a better bowler as he seemed to be at 133 k and swung banana swing ...

Mohanty was a 115-125 bowler. He needed a lot of assistance from the pitch. However, the good thing about him was he was naturally aggressive. He was 25k's slower than Srinath and about 20 times more aggressive than him! 

 

His awkward bowling action was a bit too much for batsmen when the conditions suited him. Again, bowlers like Mohanti need very strong bowling attack from the other end, and India lacked in that area.

Actually he exploited the English conditions well where most overseas bowlers do well. 

Aussie tracks, unless you hit the deck hard, you can be found out.

Not really . srinath is the first genuine fast bowler we ever had . He was 145-150 k when he came in . He was aggressive with his attitude and bowling but not like the staring kinds

 

he was the reason we Could save face at home in tests ... he bowled in a era when u did not have Bharat arun and others coaching . In many ways bumrah is similar to him - thorough gentleman just that srinath didn’t have outswinger till like the last two years of his career .

he was the reason we Could save face at home in tests ... he bowled in a era when u did not have Bharat arun and others coaching . In many ways bumrah is similar to him - thorough gentleman just that srinath didn’t have outswinger till like the last two years of his career . 

there is some difference, I will explain.

 

1, Ind vs Eng test series in Eng, India have lost a test drew one etc ? and Bumrah comes in takes a 5for and India win test. Bumrah after taking 5 for points to his BCCI emblem on his chess and points the finger to say 'I am here ' to the crowd.  - its an other matter we did not win or draw the series. but point was made to the opposition very clearly , if he is fast and fit he is going to mess you up. This is a fast bowler.

 

2, Srinath - well every one remembers that bouncer to ponting and his concern shown and pontings disdain and Srinath trudging back. Ponting was being a piece of ****, but Srinath is a soft bunny. He could have gotten away with a bit more attitude he just did not have it.

Srinath played the sport . Bowled his heart out . Sure he could show more aggression . But bowling 7-8 overs on the trot and coming back again in one hour to do the same ( we didn’t have an all rounder or fifth bowler on most days and sometime ganguly was opening partner sreenath ) , u can’t be aggressive . U wanna conserve ur emotions

finally , he played the game in the gentleman’s spirit . You show agression by taking wickets . He was a one man army and took plenty for India - zaheer was aggressive as he had srinath agarksr nehra for support . Srinath had Dodda Ganesh and slow Kuruvilla and David Johnson !
