There was hardly so much ODI cricket in Marshall's time.Same case with Lillee.So had to give greater priority or emphasis to test cricket.Wasom was a much better ODI performer but Lillee and Marshall did not play in his era.This why experts have overall ranked Marshal ahead or even Lillee.

I don't think even if Marshall and Lillee played with Akram in the same era, they would have been as successful as Akram in odis.Marshal was the least effective in odis of of FAB four 1980s WIs with Garner  being most effective. Lillee would be more like Dale Steyn who is ATG in tests but not effective in odis.

 

Akram is different he had everything height, pace , swing.If he had better slip fielders and catchers, he would have had lot more wickets. He was a genius. 

 

Overall as bowler Akram would be stand out greater than Walsh and Ambrose or Mcgrath.As he could everything with the ball.
