Looks clueless while facing any bowler with 135+ speed. Has sucked so far in this series, including yesterday's struggling inning.   Hope he redeems himself in the next 2 matches.

Pandya was indeed impressive..  His bowling has been top notch.  Wise use of length & cutters.

Improved his bowling by leaps and bounds. Can he sustain without breaking down needs to be seen.

With his height, he can focus more on bowling I reckon ? Just be a big hitter and good support bowler?

SDP v pace is pretty solid except in a relatively small area (yellow), therefore the bowlers' margin of error is quite low

In tests like the one where he took the 5-er in Eng, he did well with a relatively hard ball

Just watched a 2018 Opening MI/CSK game...Wood was bowling full tilt, it was the other Pandya who was scoring but not this SDP

 

So he does seems to have a problem facing serious Pace, now thats not a very good problem to have

 

But having said that, his bowling last night was top class

100© he has issues vs Pace above 140. Not a glaring weakness but he is weaker vs pace above than range. 

 

Watch sky. His stroke play is much better.

He can have a decent career as not many express pacers operate in LOI teams..  He is the best option we have.  And if he can bowl anything close to what he did last night.  I'll take that guy with eyes closed.

SDP does not have issues with pace. He may have issues with certain lengths and/or certain bowlers as no cricketer is perfect ... Also he is a much improved batsman since 2019 IPL. Ind's MVP.
